You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using Evidence Companion, you represent that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are using the platform for lawful purposes.
You own your content. Evidence Companion does not claim ownership over anything you upload or create on the platform. You grant Evidence Companion a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you document. The platform is a tool — it does not verify claims or authenticate records.
You may not use Evidence Companion to:
Certain features — the companion, session summaries, and document classification — use AI to generate content. AI-generated content is always clearly labeled. Your original words and testimony are never altered. You should review AI-generated summaries before sharing them.
Evidence Companion is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about the legal admissibility of records created through the platform, the accuracy of AI-generated content, or the outcome of any legal proceeding.

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
